Kristin, I've just come here from Anna Brones's newsletter and I love these beautiful drawings. Thank you for sharing them, and your practice in paying attention. You've reawakened the artist in me; I'm thinking about how I could cultivate a small daily practice like this.

Thanks for commenting. I hope your journey of cultivating a small daily practice is going well. Mine has had starts and stops, but the more it ends up happening the better. It doesn't have to be perfect, but I'm still doing it.

I’ve been trying to think of a project to do for the 100day project and this gave me an idea. To use a biting watercolor and a loose drawing to document what is happening in the garden. Thanks for sharing!

Oh cool! Glad it could provide ideas. I’m going to try to do 100 of them in the spirit of the 100 day project, maybe a year if I continue to be motivated, but I like starting with 100.

these are so wonderful and so inspiring! I've been debating on doing a daily project for awhile and this might be the inspiration I need :)

Thanks! I’m glad to share my process. I’m not always successful at daily projects, but this one seems like it might stick around for a bit.

This is so interesting to me. I enjoy the written word along with the drawing. Are you back in Alaska now?😊

Glad it’s interesting to look and read through. I am enjoying the different mental processes coming together on paper. I’m still in Vermont for a bit but heading home soooon!

Thanks Berta. It's an interesting direction to push it for me so I'm curious to see where it goes.
